This is a fully voluntary opportunity! We want to nurture the next generation of coaches and provide a chance for the youths to try being a coach of a team (Managing subs, giving instructions, leading the team and providing insights)

Yes, you can! If you get selected as a coach, we will match you up with a team for the competition period.

Preferably you will need to attend all the games. We are looking for passionate people for the game that want to give it a shot at coaching!

You will need to:

• Set line-ups and manage player rotations.
• Communicate clearly during timeouts and halftime.
• Motivate players to give effort, stay disciplined, and believe in the team.
• Resolve conflicts and encourage a positive team environment.
• Design effective practice sessions with clear objectives.

Not necessarily! A good players doesn’t mean he/she is a good coach. Coaching is more than basketball skills.

• Teaching ability: Can you explain concepts simply and clearly?

• Game IQ: Do you understand strategy, spacing, timing, and how to read the game?

• Leadership: Can you motivate, build trust, and earn players’ respect?

• Communication: Can you give honest feedback without crushing confidence?

• Adaptability: Do you adjust based on the team’s strengths and the situation?
